Worm Composting for Kids and Adults! SOLD OUT

Date: 20-Oct-2019

10 - 11 am

Ever wish you could start a compost area for your leftover strawberry tops, veggie trimmings, papers and napkins…. but you ‘don’t have enough space or time’? We’ve got an easy answer for you!  Learn how to compost with worms and bring home your own beginners' kit!  Worm composting (vermicomposting) takes little space and very little effort.  Join us Sunday, October 20 at 10:00 am for a short lecture on starting your own worm composting.  Each participant will make and take a starter kit with their very own Red Wigglers (Eisenia fetida-the most voracious eaters!).  You’ll have worm castings (black gold) to add into your garden and you'll feel good doing your share helping with sustainability.
